From bad experiences in grade school at the swimming lessons...I never learned to swim. Our children took swimming lessons which gave them the opportunity to have many good times swimming with their friends during the summer months or on vacation. Our grandchildren have taken swimming lessons and they can swim like 'fish'.
Yes,of course! What a question! Everyone I know is able to swim. I do a lot of boating, and you most definitely better know how to swim...That's like asking if you know how to ride a bicycle...C'mon, with a little effort there could be many questons of controversy to ask the "TC" audience...or whatever your coverage is...I can hardly wait to see "manana's" question...WOW,it sure is hot here!
My mom did'nt know how to swim and one day we went swimming at a family's pool and she told me and my sister and brothers that she could'nt swim and that she did'nt want us to be like her and she told us to learn in the pool and that we would be fine.and from that day we learned how to swim.thanks to my mom I learned how to swim now I can teach my grandkids how to swim.
was taught how to swim at Packard Pool. Sure do miss all the good times there. And feel bad that so many kids coming up will never know the enjoyment of a public swimming facility in Warren :-(

Every parent owes their children instruction on water safety – including swimming instructions.
There is no way to predict when a water related emergency may occur.
